A lovestruck South African man recruited co-passengers on a United Airlines plane flight to help him propose to his girlfriend.
George Erasmus spent a year planning the proposal to his Missouri girlfriend, Ashley Kracht. Other passengers on his flight from South Africa were in on it.
As the passengers exited flight 3774 at Kansas City International Airport, they each handed a daisy flower to Ashley, who was waiting in "arriving flights". George was the last passenger to exit the plane.
He got down on one knee and popped the question to Ashley, who had an armful of daisies. George also wrote a song, which he produced and United Airlines played over the PA.
The couple met in Cape Town when Ashley was serving as a missionary there. Seeing how
much she cared for the children she worked with touched his heart, he stated.
The couple met three years ago, according to KSDK.com
