REVIEW
Being an avid lover of all things intriguing, I sat glued to my tv as these flicks unfolded. Here are two reasons why I personally loved this one: its a fresh breath from our screens filled with all this "amrikis" as the americans were called in it.
This flick is so middle-eastern, you'd think you were on a "vakay" to the "Arabs"...
Secondly, aside it being informative, the scenery of the locations..OMG!!! totally enthralling. From the pilot episode to the season finale, you'd be thrilled watching it and what's more? Its just 10 episodes and its widely available.
On a scale of it being a "rotten tomato to an extraordinary work of art", I'd say its a really good one. It's Tomatometer reading is at 60%, with an audience score of 83%. At 60% percent, you can be sure it got some stern criticisms. Here...
Watching it made me realize what citizens of a country ruled by a dictator go through and how blessed we are to live in a democratic state.
Alas, it's been slated to return for 13 episodes in summer 2015.*yaaay*. Watch this film, enjoy it and above all, get on your knees to pray for peace in the middle east; like I read somewhere "the only reason most people there are caught up in the crisis, was being born there"..
